OOPBuy frequently asked questions
Find concise answers about ordering, inspection, warehouse decisions, shipping and aftersales, with official references for platform policies.
What is OOPBuy, and does it sell the products itself?+
OOPBuy describes its role as a purchasing and logistics agent. It helps arrange orders with third-party sellers, temporary storage, packing and shipping. That role is different from being the manufacturer or an authorised brand retailer. Check the original seller, product description and applicable restrictions before ordering; an agent listing or warehouse photo does not establish authenticity.
How do I place my first OOPBuy order?+
The official guide starts with a product link or product-name search. Review the loaded item, choose the required colour, size and quantity, and pay the product cost plus applicable domestic shipping. After procurement and warehouse inspection, review the stored item before submitting an international parcel. Confirm each stage in your official account rather than treating a spreadsheet card as an order.
Official sources
Which shopping links does the official beginner guide describe?+
The beginner guide specifically describes pasting Taobao, Tmall and 1688 links into OOPBuy. For any link, check that the official product page resolves to the intended seller item and that the variant information is complete. If a link fails or the displayed item differs, ask OOPBuy support before paying instead of assuming that every marketplace URL is supported.
Why are product payment and international shipping separate?+
OOPBuy explains its purchasing process in two stages. The first payment covers the product and applicable shipping within China to the warehouse. You later select stored goods, submit a parcel and pay international shipping. Estimate that second cost before buying, because the item price alone does not represent the complete cost of receiving your order.
Will the displayed USD product price be my final total?+
No. A product price does not by itself include every possible cost of the purchase and international parcel. Domestic freight, international shipping, optional services and payment conversion can affect the total. OOPBuy’s top-up notices also describe currency conversion and payment charges. Review the amounts shown in your own checkout and parcel submission rather than treating a converted catalogue price as a final quote.
Official sources
Which payment methods can I use?+
The beginner guide lists credit card, PayPal and account balance, while the top-up help describes additional recharge arrangements. Availability and the amount charged should be checked in your current account and checkout. Read any currency conversion and fee information before confirming payment; the presence of a method in a help article does not guarantee it is available for every country or transaction.

Are standard OOPBuy QC photos free?+
The customized-services notice says standard warehouse QC photos, taken under the inspection guidelines, are free. These photos are provided after the warehouse receives and processes an item. They are different from a seller’s catalogue photos or images displayed on an independent spreadsheet. Check the photos attached to your own stored order before making a shipping decision.
Official sources
What can standard QC photos and inspection actually confirm?+
Official inspection guidance covers visible information such as quantity, ordered specifications and apparent condition, with explicit limitations. It does not establish perfect fit, professional electronic performance or brand authenticity. Sealed products may receive only an exterior check. Treat photos as evidence of what is visible, and ask for clarification where a detail matters instead of assuming an unseen feature has been tested.
Official sources
Can I request measurements or close-up QC photographs?+
OOPBuy describes a Custom QC Service for particular measurements or details, including shoe or insole length and garment dimensions. Availability and the current charge should be checked in the official account or with support; the notice does not publish a universal custom-photo price. Specify the exact measurement or view you need so the request addresses your concern.
Official sources
Do items bought from 1688 receive the same inspection as every other item?+
Not necessarily. The beginner guide notes different QC standards for 1688 purchases, and the user agreement describes limited sampling rather than universal full inspection. Do not infer that every unit in a multi-item order has been individually examined. Before placing a quantity order, clarify the inspection scope and any additional service needed for the checks that matter to you.
Official sources
How long is the normal free warehouse storage period?+
The official customized-services notice states a normal free storage period of 90 days from warehousing. The general storage page uses the order status “received” as its starting reference. Check the actual deadline shown for each stored order, especially if items arrived on different dates, and arrange shipment or an eligible extension before the free period ends.
Official sources
Can I extend storage beyond the free period?+
The customized-services notice allows one paid extension: 10 CNY for up to 30 additional days, making a maximum of 120 days under that policy. This is not 120 days of free storage or unlimited renewals. Verify the current extension option and your item’s deadline in the official account before relying on it, because overdue goods can be disposed of.
Official sources
Should I wait for a storage reminder before arranging shipment?+
No. Track each order’s displayed deadline yourself and keep your contact details current. Official notices discuss reminders, but also warn that overdue items may be treated as abandoned. Unmatched or abnormal incoming packages can have different handling rules. If an item’s storage status is unclear, contact support promptly instead of assuming that the normal free period applies without qualification.
Official sources
When should I request a return or exchange after warehouse arrival?+
The returns notice describes a conditional five-day, 120-hour request window after the order becomes “Stocked in,” with its stated timing rules. Review your photos and the official aftersales screen promptly. Eligibility still depends on seller support and the item’s condition; the window is not a promise that every request will be accepted. Check the live deadline for your particular order.
Official sources
Can every product be returned or exchanged?+
No. The returns policy lists conditions and exclusions, including seller rules, resale condition, custom-made or used goods, and certain sealed or personal-use categories. Removing tags, accessories or required packaging may affect eligibility. OOPBuy can communicate with the seller, but the notice still requires seller agreement. Check the product’s conditions before ordering or requesting changes to its packaging.
Official sources
Does the first free return or exchange include all shipping costs?+
No. The returns notice describes a waiver of the service fee for the first return or exchange operation in a calendar month. That is different from free return postage or reimbursement of every domestic shipping charge. Costs depend on the reason, seller decision and order circumstances. Read the actual aftersales quotation before confirming a return rather than assuming the entire process is free.
Official sources
Can I cancel an order before the seller ships it?+
The returns help says its return-service charge does not apply when the product has not yet shipped. That statement should not be read as an unconditional cancellation guarantee at every stage. Check the current order status and submit the available cancellation or aftersales request promptly. If the seller has already dispatched it, different handling and shipping costs may apply.
Official sources
How long does a refund take, and where should I check it?+
Refund approval, credit to an OOPBuy balance and settlement to a bank card are different steps. The returns notice says bank processing affects card refunds and provides an estimated timeframe, not a guaranteed arrival date. Check the refund record and destination in your account. If progress is unclear, give support the relevant order and refund reference rather than submitting repeated payments.
Official sources
Can an item be returned after it has been shipped internationally?+
The returns notice describes international returns as conditional and potentially at the customer’s expense, including return transport and additional charges such as duties. Original condition and required packaging still matter. Contact OOPBuy aftersales before sending anything back and obtain the current instructions. An overseas return is not equivalent to a simple warehouse cancellation or a guaranteed full reimbursement.
Official sources
How should I estimate OOPBuy international shipping?+
Use the official shipping estimator with the destination and the parcel information it requests, then review available routes and restrictions. The beginner guide explains that final charges depend on measured dimensions and weight as well as the shipping arrangement. A preliminary estimate is useful for budgeting, but it does not replace the final parcel quote or include every destination-specific charge automatically.
Official sources
Is one shipping route always the cheapest or fastest?+
No universal route can be identified from the official guidance. Available services depend on the destination, contents, weight, dimensions and current route conditions. Compare the options shown for your parcel, including restrictions and any compensation terms, before choosing. Published delivery estimates are not guarantees: carrier operations, weather and customs can affect the journey after the warehouse dispatches the package.
Official sources
What does Parcel Rehearsal do?+
The rehearsal notice describes a warehouse packing service that helps establish the parcel’s measured information before international shipping payment. It lists a 20 CNY service fee and explains that pricing depends on retaining the same route and packing configuration. Changing those choices can change the final charge. Review the current service and cancellation conditions before submitting a rehearsal request.
Official sources
Should I remove shoe boxes or vacuum-pack clothing?+
The packaging guide describes these as possible packing choices, with some options limited to particular routes. Decide according to the item’s protection needs, your preference and any return restrictions. Removing packaging or compressing an item is not suitable for every purchase, and a smaller parcel does not guarantee a lower final charge. Check the packing options and route calculation before confirming.
Official sources
Can all stored products be combined into one parcel?+
Consolidation is available in the shopping process, but every combination is not necessarily eligible or economical. Item characteristics, route restrictions and separate-packing labels can require different parcels. The official separate-shipment notice gives an oversized-item rule, while the packaging guide discusses restrictions around battery-containing goods. Follow the instructions attached to your stored items and compare eligible parcel options before submitting.
Why does my order say “Shipped” before I have an international tracking number?+
The status guide uses shipping terms in two contexts. On a purchasing order, “Shipped” can describe the seller sending the product to OOPBuy’s warehouse. On an international parcel, it refers to the later carrier stage. Check whether you are viewing an item order or a parcel, then open the relevant logistics details rather than assuming both stages share one tracking number.
Official sources
What should I do if the delivered parcel is damaged or missing items?+
Keep the outer packaging, shipping label and relevant item evidence, and contact OOPBuy aftersales promptly. The official guidance asks for clear photographs and details such as order numbers; it also contains short reporting and evidence deadlines. Do not discard the packaging or wait for a general deadline you have seen elsewhere. Follow the instructions for your specific parcel and claim.
Official sources
Does insurance automatically cover every parcel problem?+
No. The official compensation notice says handling depends on the shipping line’s terms and supporting evidence, and it lists exclusions. Do not assume that delay, damage, customs action or loss will always produce a full payout. Read the cover, limits and claim procedure for the route you actually choose, and keep the order and parcel records needed if an issue occurs.
Official sources
Can I order any product that appears in a spreadsheet?+
No. A listing appearing online does not establish that it is lawful, authentic or eligible for your shipping route. OOPBuy’s purchasing guidance prohibits certain goods and identifies restricted categories that require checking with support. Its terms also prohibit counterfeit or infringing products. Confirm the seller’s information, platform policy and destination requirements before buying, especially for batteries, liquids or other restricted contents.
