OOPBuy QC photo guide

Check the evidence attached to your order, identify questions that need another view and resolve concerns before submitting a parcel.

01

Identify which photos you are reviewing

+

Begin with the source of the images. A catalogue or seller photo shows a listing; the inspection images attached to your own order relate to the item received for that order. Match the order reference and selected option before making a decision. Product images displayed on this site come from the catalogue and are labelled as product photos. When you need to assess your received item, use the evidence available in your official OOPBuy account.

02

Check identity, quantity and visible condition

+

Read the ordered colour, size, version and quantity alongside the available images. Look at the complete item first, then examine the areas that matter for that product. For shoes, compare both pieces and any visible size labels. For clothing, inspect the silhouette, seams and printed details. For bags and accessories, check closures, straps and included pieces. Note the exact discrepancy and the photo that shows it, rather than relying on a general impression that something looks wrong.

03

Ask a question another image can answer

+

A useful request identifies one decision and the evidence needed to make it. You might ask for a readable label, a view of an obscured fastening or a measurement with the tape endpoints visible. Confirm that the requested service is available and review any displayed charge before proceeding. Photographs have limits: lighting can affect colour, perspective can distort proportions, and a picture cannot establish internal performance, long-term durability or material composition. Leave unresolved questions open instead of guessing.

04

Resolve concerns before parcel submission

+

Compare what you can observe with the listing and decide whether to continue, seek clarification or contact aftersales. Preserve the selected option, relevant images and a short explanation of the issue. OOPBuy publishes inspection and return information; review the current policy and the options displayed for your order before assuming a particular outcome. The full QC article gives a category-based checklist, while the sizing and returns guides explain when another measurement or a prompt support request can change the decision.
