01Build a US quote from the parcel you will actually send
Select United States in the official shipping estimator and use the appropriate product category. Enter weight, length, width and height in the units requested. Keep the quote's currency visible. Comparing a USD quote with an unlabelled amount from another country or account can make an expensive route look misleadingly cheap.
For this guide, the checked example used ordinary non-branded clothing weighing 2000 g in a 30 × 20 × 15 cm parcel. The selected currency was USD. It did not include batteries, liquids or other sensitive contents. Your own products may need a different category and may produce different eligible routes.
Before warehouse packing, treat measurements as assumptions. Recalculate after inspection and packing information become available, especially for shoes with boxes or mixed orders. A larger carton may change the billable amount even if the products themselves weigh the same. Read the selected route's rules rather than applying a universal dimensional-weight formula.
02A dated USA shipping-cost example
On 2026-10-23, the official estimator returned DDF-GOFO-US-1 at USD 60.27 before its displayed discount and USD 44.80 after it for the example above. This is a recorded comparison point, not a promise that the same price or discount is available when you submit your own parcel.
The result also demonstrated why delivery estimates need checking: its structured timing showed 15–20 working days, while the route description still mentioned 8–16. Because those fields disagreed, this guide does not choose one as a guaranteed arrival range. Review the current line details and ask support to clarify inconsistent information before relying on it.
The description excluded liquids, powders and pastes and warned that a remote-area surcharge could apply. A low number in the result list therefore does not settle eligibility or total cost. Compare accepted contents, your destination address, optional services and the final payable amount together.
OOPBuy Shipping Cost: Calculator, Weight & Fees03Why the ZIP code matters even after selecting United States
The checked country-level estimate did not request a ZIP code. One returned route, ZD-UPS-US-HK, was marked available for the generic US example, while its description excluded postal codes beginning with 8 or 9. This is a specific observed route restriction, not a rule for all OOPBuy shipping to the United States.
Read the complete route description and verify your own ZIP code before choosing a line. Also check any remote-address restrictions or surcharges relevant to the address you will actually use. Do not infer that a country-level availability label confirms every state, territory, island or address type.
If an address is excluded, compare legitimate alternatives that accept it. Do not alter the ZIP code to get past a selection screen. Ask official support using the correct destination details and product specifications, then confirm the available choice during parcel submission. A previous customer's successful delivery to another address is insufficient evidence for yours.
04How long does OOPBuy take to the USA?
There is no single useful delivery time for every US order. Purchasing, seller dispatch, warehouse receipt, inspection, parcel submission and carrier transit are separate stages. A seller marked shipped may still be sending the item within China. Start by identifying the stage your own order has reached.
After the international parcel is dispatched, use its waybill details and the selected line's current tracking information. Check the date and meaning of the last event rather than comparing unrelated tracking screenshots. An estimated range may use working days and a specific starting event, so read those conditions before planning around it.
If a status remains unclear, provide the order or parcel reference and the last update date to official support. Explain whether the issue concerns warehouse arrival, carrier collection or later delivery. The dated example above contains conflicting timing fields, reinforcing why a fixed promise in an old guide is less useful than the terms of your actual route.
05Compare total cost and retain accurate purchase evidence
Your US shipping quote is not the total product purchase price. Add goods, seller delivery to the warehouse, chosen services and any displayed payment or conversion charges. Ask what the selected route includes and what remains payable separately. A discounted freight amount should not silently replace the rest of your budget.
Do not treat a route nickname or a tax-related label as a guarantee about every import-related charge. This guide does not publish a customs threshold or predict clearance. Use accurate descriptions and purchase values when requested, and retain receipts that match the items in the parcel.
OOPBuy's customs notice explains that clearance may require further documents. Respond through legitimate carrier or authority channels and ask official support if the request is unclear. Budgeting with unresolved costs visible is more useful than assuming that a small or inexpensive parcel cannot receive additional scrutiny or charges.
OOPBuy Tracking Not Updating? Order & Parcel Status Guide06Check the US parcel before confirming payment
Review the recipient, street address, ZIP code and any other information required by the chosen route. Confirm that every included item is accepted and has passed your own warehouse review. A product appearing in a spreadsheet does not itself establish that it can be transported to your address.
Compare the final measured parcel against the estimate: weight, dimensions, contents, packing and optional services should match. If you remove boxes or change the combination of items, obtain an updated quote. A smaller parcel can still fall within the same billing bracket, so do not assume a particular saving without a comparison.
Save the current route terms, final payment record and waybill reference. Track the parcel through its international record after dispatch. Use the general shipping guide for calculation questions and the restrictions guide for batteries, liquids or perfume; those categories require their own eligibility checks before purchase.
