01Start with purchase rules, then transport eligibility
A seller listing, warehouse acceptance and international transport eligibility answer different questions. OOPBuy's shopping guidelines prohibit certain purchases and require advance confirmation for sensitive categories. Finding an item in a spreadsheet does not override those rules or establish that an international route will carry it to your destination.
The visible shopping guidelines identify tobacco, alcohol and contraband as unacceptable and prohibit counterfeit or intellectual-property-infringing goods. They also flag medicines, liquids, pastes and cosmetic powders for customer-service confirmation before purchase. Use the current official guidance for the exact item rather than a generic recommendation from another buyer.
After checking purchase eligibility, check the route separately. Describe what the product actually contains, including accessories packed with it. A line suitable for ordinary clothing may exclude the battery, liquid refill or magnetic component inside the same parcel. Obtain clarification before paying for an uncertain item, when changing your plan is easier.
02Batteries and electronics: installed is not the same as separate
The live estimator distinguishes product groups with built-in batteries or magnetism from groups with supporting batteries. Those classifications are useful prompts, not a universal battery allowance. A device with an installed battery, a loose replacement battery and an unpowered accessory can require different eligibility checks.
Give official support the seller's product link, device type, battery specifications and quantity. Explain whether the battery is installed, separately packed or supplied as a spare. If the listing does not provide a relevant specification, ask the seller or support to clarify it rather than inventing a capacity or selecting an inaccurate category.
The packaging notice explains that battery-accepting routes can differ in cost and restrictions. This does not establish a fixed surcharge or a single capacity limit for every destination. Check the actual line and packing instructions. If it is unsuitable, reconsider the purchase or ask about a legitimate eligible service; do not hide or mislabel the battery.
OOPBuy Shipping Cost: Calculator, Weight & Fees03Liquids, cosmetics, pastes and powders
A cosmetic product is not one uniform shipping category. The estimator distinguishes liquids, pastes and powders and includes several volume categories. The material inside the package matters: an empty bottle is different from a filled bottle, while an aerosol or pressurized container raises a different question again.
Provide the exact contents, container volume, quantity and packaging information when asking about eligibility. Include any relevant seller specifications rather than relying only on a brand name or a short product title. Check the total parcel combination as well: an accepted individual item does not establish that every mixed parcel or route is suitable.
Use the accurate category in the official estimator and read each route's exclusions. A category appearing in the menu means it can be described, not that every carrier accepts it. If the result list or help text leaves uncertainty, obtain official confirmation before ordering or preparing an international parcel.
04Can OOPBuy ship perfume?
The checked estimator included separate perfume-related categories below and above 100 ml. That distinction does not create a universal rule that every bottle below 100 ml can be shipped. It also does not support a blanket statement that all perfume is prohibited. Eligibility depends on the actual product, destination and route.
Identify the exact perfume or liquid diffuser, volume per container, number of containers and any relevant contents information supplied by the seller. Ask official support which classification and route apply. Do not substitute an ordinary clothing category because the perfume is small or packed beside clothes.
Review the line description for liquids and other sensitive contents, and confirm packing requirements before submitting the parcel. A favourable example for a different bottle or country is not enough. If no eligible option is confirmed, postpone the purchase rather than assuming warehouse arrival guarantees an international shipping solution.
05What to do when no suitable route appears
First check that the destination, contents, dimensions and weight were entered correctly. Correct an actual input mistake, but do not change a true product characteristic simply to obtain a quote. Country-level availability can also omit address-specific restrictions, so include the correct postal code when asking for help.
Send support the product links, specifications, intended destination and relevant estimator results. Ask a concrete question: whether that exact item is eligible, which category applies, whether it needs separate packing, and what the currently suitable route requires. Keep the answer with your order notes and recheck if the contents or destination change.
If an item is already in the warehouse, review the available aftersales options and deadlines promptly. Return eligibility depends on the order and seller; it is not guaranteed by a shipping problem. Avoid adding more purchases while assuming an unconfirmed route will eventually become available for the restricted item.
OOPBuy Haul Packing: Protect Your Items and Check the Final Cost06A restriction check before every new purchase
Use a repeatable sequence: identify the item, read the current purchasing guidance, confirm sensitive characteristics, estimate with the correct category, and inspect the route terms. This sequence is more reliable than memorizing a short prohibited-items list that may omit a destination or carrier exception.
Before paying for the international parcel, review every included item again. Confirm battery details, liquid volume, packaging, address coverage and any support instructions. Do not assume an accepted previous order establishes today's policy, especially when the product variant, quantity, destination or selected line has changed.
Keep truthful item descriptions and the evidence used to confirm eligibility. A successful estimate is planning information; the final parcel submission and route conditions still matter. For cost comparisons, use the shipping guide, and for packing decisions consult the haul-packing guide after eligibility has been established.
